Anybody else seen the South Park breast cancer episode??
Loved it...and now I call my boobies, "Killer Titty Wannabees" - they keep trying. But thank goodness that the best they can do is DCIS - and that we find it early.
If you haven't seen this South Park episode, I highly recommend it...as long as you're not highly sensitive. (Then again, if you are easily offended you probably shouldn't be watching South Park or reading this blog.
Here's an excerpt of dialogue between Wendy and Cartman - you had to know that Cartman came up with "killer titties", right?
Mr. Garrison: OKay, children. Let's all take our seats. Before we get started, Wendy Testaburger asked to share something with the class. Wendy?
Wendy: Thank you, Mr. Garrison. Fellow students, October is awareness month for the one of the leading cause of death in women. A terrible disease that takes the lives of American women everyday. I am talking, of course, about Breast Cancer.
(Cartman snickers)
Wendy: An estimated one in six women will deal with cancer in their lifetime. Breast Cancer is the most--...
Cartman: (giggles) She said it again.
Wendy: Is there a problem? 'Cause Breast Cancer isn't funny. Breast Cancer is killing people!
Cartman: Mr. Garrison, do we really need all this potty talk in the classroom?
Mr. Garrison: (Rubs his head) Eric, for the love of Jesus.
Wendy: This is a serious issue, Eric. What you're doing is very offense.
Cartman: Me? You're the one talking about "killer titties!"
(Clyde snickers)
Cartman: Watch out, guys. Wendy says boobs can kill people. Rawr! Gonna get ya! Gonna get ya!
Butters: I don't wanna get killed by boobs.
Wendy: Will somebody do something?! Every week he gets worse an nobody does anything!
Mr. Garrison: Eric, stop being offensive.
Cartman: I'm just trying to engage Wendy in a constructive dialogue about Breast Cancer awareness, Mr. Garrison.
Wendy: NO YOU AREN'T!
Cartman: Wendy, you need to calm down. You're gonna get your boobs all angry and then they'll start killing everyone.
(everyone laughs except Stan, Kyle and Bebe)
Cartman: Dude, I'm on fire today.
