Life with Cancer

When you're first diagnosed, your mind begins to race, questions form faster than you can get them answered - or even written down...actually, I'd say your mind starts swimming at even the possibility of being diagnosed.

It's tough to handle. Here's an event that might help. It's called "Five First Steps of Life with Cancer". There's no cost, but you do have to register. It's online and easy to attend! It's at 7:00 pm (4:00 Pacific) on Tuesday, August 21st. Click here to register.

Thanks to Young Survival Coalition's ezine for this info.

Phone call

This might be of interest...It's sponsored by Young Survival Coalition. I attended their conference in February. Great information, great company, great gals.

Reaching out for the help you need is important. You are not alone. Took me a while to realize this one...it didn't help that I have a tendency to try to do everything myself.  : ) Can anyone relate?

Yet, the gals I met at this conference have been great about walking me through the mastectomy and everything that goes along with the big "C". It's comforting to be able to talk to people who have walked the road before you.
